I began my metal building experience as a teenager working for my father’s construction company, Structural Systems, Inc. of Missoula, Montana. We were a general contractor that specialized in pre-engineered metal buildings. I started as a laborer in high school working my way into the office by the time I graduated from the University of Montana. During my time at SSI I was the general manager doing outside sales and project management. With the passing of my father in 2011 my brother and I decided to close the business.

With the closing of SSI I began looking for work. After a few months of frustration, I began thinking about selling metal buildings and accessories. Beginning in 2011 I started Northern Building Supply Company to supply Metallic Building Systems pre-engineered metal buildings and associated accessories to commercial and residential contractors.

During my 45+ years at Structural Systems Inc. we completed upwards of 300 pre-engineered steel building projects. Since beginning NBSCo I have provided more than 75 pre-engineered metal buildings all of which have been Metallic Building Systems steel buildings.

I believe that pre-engineered metal buildings are the best building solution for many industrial, agricultural, and manufacturing uses. I work directly with multiple general contractors around the state of Montana to provide building, insulation and accessory pricing for projects they are working on. I also work with private residential people that are looking for a shop or RV Storage facilities. I really enjoy working with people to find the best building solution that fits their needs.
